Express Handyman was founded in 2003 and is a full service handyman company with 4 technicians. Two are handymen, one a plumber and, finally, an electrician. We've been fortunate to never have to lay anyone off in the winter months for the last seven years. Recently, though, Michigan's tough economic climate forced us to seek other sources of revenue, so we sought out retail management companies to offset our residential work. We have been successful in partnering with those companies and they have been providing us with painting projects, fixture installations and general maintenance. When you consider how much money that's spent on advertising, management companies are a very low-cost solution to the extra work.
